The Antichrist will be a populist.

Image
I debated between using "may be" and "will be" in the title of this blog post, but I went with will be. As I've alluded to in other posts regarding the increasing deception that will continue to grow, Christians and non-Christians alike aren't fooled by the globalists. There is an ever-growing odd collection of people on the left, center, and right who are walking in agreement about their distrust and desire to expose the WEF, the elite, the overlords of recent years that have so clumsily played their hands. If they're not fooled now, why would they be later? When you see the massive rallies and protests and marches across the world, they are populist movements. They are pushing back at the elites and globalists. They are nationalists. When you dive into the many social media groups and websites dedicated to politics, they are about grassroots rising up and becoming active to push back and shake off the control of these powerful government bureaucrats a...

Giving the elite and government too much credit.

All of the bad weather isn't because of HAARP or weather modification. All of the bad happening isn't because of globalist machinations, the WEF, Soros, or whomever else. All of the evil in the nation isn't because of the Democrats. If you don't understand that or grasp that, you'll always forget that the war is spiritual. And you'll forget that God's plan is at work and he is ultimately in control. I won't lie, I'm very weary of trying to find Bible prophecy videos and podcasts to play in the background while I work only to hear about Klaus Schwab and the global elite. I get it. I think most of us get it. Those who don't know or understand yet probably are not going to. I always have to remind myself that somewhere, someone new to all of it is finding a video or article for the first time, perhaps. And then I wonder if the problem is that I have "itching ears" just wanting to hear something new. But there are so many videos out there, ...

What will it take to get pastors to say the "R" word?

Image
Jonathan Brentner wrote a blog post regarding the strange phenomenon of pastors who won't say the word "rapture" in their preaching . I'm sure there are lots of reasons for it. "There are differing views." "I might make someone angry who holds a different view." "No one can really know what it means." "I don't want anyone to leave because Revelation is weird." "People want practical teaching on how to live their daily lives." "It doesn't fit into my series." Etc. It's the last one that gets me the most, in this day and age. Our daily lives are complete chaos right now. What used to pass as practical teaching before 2020 almost seems comical right now. The words from Daniel, Ezekiel, Zechariah, Thessalonians, Revelation...they are practically crawling out of people's Bibles and waving at them to take a look. Nope. Same old pre-2020 sermons, with a dash of woke for some preachers. One way you ca...

The battle between wisdom and knowledge.

Image
This is not a perfect diagram, but it illustrates a basic concept.   Wisdom is not knowledge. They are not the same. Wisdom comes from God. It might overlap knowledge, but it contains the supernatural element of the Holy Spirit, as well as an action attached to putting into practice the wise things God tells us. The world values knowledge and information, and entices us to gain all of it that we can. Learn more. Learn at school, learn online, watch the videos, be awakened, don't be a sheep, chase the knowledge and wake up. The world, run by the Great Deceiver, attaches awakening to knowledge. "Surely you will not die, if you eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil. You will be like God. You will know. You will be empowered to act and to understand." The "world" isn't just the leftist influence. There is a non-Christian right that advances their own version of knowledge, packaged in New Age Gnostic wrapping that can be impossible to discern without th...

If you think you won't be deceived, you are in a place to be deceived.

Image
I want to say something about deception. We talk about the concept of end times "birth pangs," how things that will be grow in frequency and intensity. Amidst the earthquakes and wars and famine is the trickiest sign of all: deception. It's a sign you can see, but also may not realize you're a part of. In Matthew 24 and 25, we read about the tribulation. But in 24:4 , we see Jesus telling his disciples not to be deceived. Over and over, we are reminded in the Bible to be careful about deception. It's easy enough to tally up the earthquakes, wars and bombings, pestilence, the volcanic eruptions, the near-miss asteroids, the rising push for digital currency, the growing globalism, WEF—but you can't do the same with deception. Deception catches all of us, even the most astute and aware, off guard. At some point, in some way, to some degree, it takes our breath away. Fallen leaders. Self-proclaimed prophets whose predictions don't come true but still have a pu...

You will own nothing, and be unhappy. But they'll convince you you're not.

Image
It's not a question of material goods making you happy.  We know that not to be true, that the pursuit of material goods and wealth as the sole goal to be empty and meaningless. It's a question of whether the idea of "you'll own nothing and be happy" is a true statement that brings about good. Think what the upcoming generations have been trained to see as normal, and good: Open borders and disrespect/no protection or seizure/closure of private property Globalization Renting an apartment/home for life Living in a "tiny" box-like house Leasing vehicles Using vehicles, machines, home security, and other home and devices that are connected and can be controlled elsewhere, whether you ask them to or not Wearing watches and using apps and trackers for "health" and exercise monitoring Streaming video and television Streaming music Digital e-books protected by DRM  Paperless office and record-keeping Digital economy and currency Virtual reality (or th...

Remember how strong the deception will be.

Image
We're seeing videos of people around the world rising up in protest against the various mandates and restrictions that have come down like a hammer. It's easy to find videos online of non-Christians talking about the Great Reset and the global elite. In Matthew 24, Jesus is talking about the Tribulation. His disciples asked questions and Jesus is answering them. The church (and the rapture) is not what he's talking about in that section of scripture.   It's important to understand that because many confuse this. The Olivet Discourse of Matthew 24-25 is Israel-and-Tribulation-centric. The Upper Room Discourse of John 13 came later in the timeline and was about the church and the Rapture. But those shadows of the Tribulation are cast, and we know that deception is one of the signs of the tribulation that will cast a shadow backwards. It's in Matthew 24:24 that we learn the deception during the Tribulation will be so all-encompassing that if it were possible, the elect...

The churning sea that is home to the beast.

Image
In Revelation 13:1-4 , we see the beast rising out of the sea. Then I stood on the sand of the sea. And I saw a beast rising up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and on his horns ten crowns, and on his heads a blasphemous name. Now the beast which I saw was like a leopard, his feet were like the feet of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion. The dragon gave him his power, his throne, and great authority. And I saw one of his heads as if it had been mortally wounded, and his deadly wound was healed. And all the world marveled and followed the beast. So they worshiped the dragon who gave authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, “Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?” The beast is made up of the four animals from Daniel's vision (Daniel 7:208), representing the four kingdoms of Gentile rule. The sea often represents humanity (particularly Gentiles), and/or chaos. It is from out of that sea the beast (antichrist) will c...

If your trust isn't solely in God by now, you have fewer places to look than ever.

Proverbs 18:10 "They can't do that! It's unconstitutional!" But they do it.  "They can't mandate something that would force me to close my business down and lose income!" But they do it. "They can't force us to do something harmful or unhealthy!" But they do it. "They can't call it a vaccine when it's gene therapy!" But they do it. "They can't mandate a vaccine that isn't approved!" But they do it.  "They can't approve a vaccine without more testing!" But they do it. "They can't make me believe a lie!" But they do it. "They can't tell me where I can and can't shop!" But they do it. "They can't tell me where and when I can travel!" But they do it. "They can't tell me what is essential and what isn't!" But they do it. The Department of alleged Justice even says they can. The administration says they can. Legislative bodies do noth...

It's a question of convergence.

Image
A woman commented, after I'd shared an article about earthquakes, that I should stop scaring people because earthquakes have always happened. I understand that there is a lot of fearmongering out there, and has been for decades. Sometimes you read books from a decade or so ago, and you realize the dire predictions were way off. I get it. And she's correct. Earthquakes have always happened, because natural disasters have always happened. Depravity has always been present. People have always been deceived. There have been antichrists since Jesus ascended into Heaven. There has been persecution of the Jews since ancient times. The church has always struggled with apostasy. The woman missed the point. It wasn't a question if sin and the results of the fall of humanity and a fallen world has already been at work. It's a question of increased activity plus convergence. All those dire predictions that were way off? The frequency of what is happening, and the timing of things...

Introduction: What this site is about.

Image
Since late 2020, I've run a page on MeWe where I've shared articles, videos, and information that relate to Bible prophecy and the end times. In the summer of 2021, I added a Telegram channel. There are many views of Bible prophecy and the end times. As noted in the site description, this site takes a pre-tribulation pre-millennial dispensational view.  Very basically, I believe the rapture happens before the 7 year tribulation, of which the last half is the Great Tribulation. The rapture is imminent, which means are no signs necessary for the rapture. There are signs for things pertaining to the Second Coming of Christ, but not the rapture. Sometimes those signs throw a shadow back on how we live now, which is why people will say "signs of the times" as a way of saying "we're seeing the beginning birth pangs of what is going to happen at the end." The rapture takes Christ's church out of the world before the nation of Israel becomes God's focus...
