If your trust isn't solely in God by now, you have fewer places to look than ever.

Proverbs 18:10

"They can't do that! It's unconstitutional!"

But they do it.

"They can't mandate something that would force me to close my business down and lose income!"

But they do it.

"They can't force us to do something harmful or unhealthy!"

But they do it.

"They can't call it a vaccine when it's gene therapy!"

But they do it.

"They can't mandate a vaccine that isn't approved!"

But they do it.

"They can't approve a vaccine without more testing!"

But they do it.

"They can't make me believe a lie!"

But they do it.

"They can't tell me where I can and can't shop!"

But they do it.

"They can't tell me where and when I can travel!"

But they do it.

"They can't tell me what is essential and what isn't!"

But they do it.

The Department of alleged Justice even says they can. The administration says they can. Legislative bodies do nothing, or outright say they can. Celebrities and media fall into agreement and then advocate saying they not only can.

Not only can we do it, they say, but we should. For your safety. For your neighbor's safety.

Good people will understand.

Good people will agree. Agree to decisions that will harm the populace because you're told good people care about climate change. Agree to wear masks, lock yourself inside, and get injections, because you're told good people care about health and freedom of others enough that they'll destroy their own. Agree to hand every decision over to some government authority and let them tell you what you can do, when you can do it, and where you can go to do it, because they know best how to manage the shortages and inflation and pandemic they created.

We are surprised that they do what they should not be able to do because we still have faith in the laws and boundaries created by mankind.

We hear that we are heading towards the point of no return. We hear preaching on the prophecies outlined in the Bible in Daniel, Ezekiel, Isaiah, Jeremiah, and 1 and 2 Thessalonians, Revelation—we know them. We agree, and add our words of agreement to it.

But somewhere in the back of our heads or hearts we are shocked each day when yet another piece of the beast system falls into place.

"I never thought I would see this happen!" we think. We believed in all the things that said it would, but somehow we are still incredulous.

And nervous.

Maybe we thought those things would happen somewhere else. But they're happening in our nation, our state, even our own city or job. We're starting to realize that the worldwide beast system truly is worldwide, right down to our neighborhood store or apartment building rules.

Our incredulity reveals that our trust isn't quite yet solely in God. It might be close. Our heart might be genuine. But each day's repeat fire of news upon news opens our eyes to how we thought there might still be some hope somewhere else.

Our Constitution. Our Supreme Court. Our Congress. Our governor. Our state legislator. Our boss. Our school board. Our HOA.

But there isn't.

The infection is going to be complete, right down to your pantry shelves in your home.

This isn't about scolding you for not having enough faith. I write this from my own realization. But it is to give you encouragement to continue to put more of your time, thought, and trust in the things of God, talking to Him throughout the day, more eager to read His Word than turn on the TV.

The name of the Lord is a strong tower. The righteous will run into it to be saved. But if you want to be in it, you can't keep part of your foot out the door just in case your governor comes through with an executive order that you think will spare you from what people elsewhere are suffering from.

Be ready. The beast system continues to grow. Pray and ask the Lord how he would want you to prepare, and then let go of the fear and worry. You live in a strong tower.
